My Three Kids

Ha!
A friend of mine calls my children the "Sweet Three".
Which made me chuckle.
Cause just this week I have referred to them as:

The Princess
LAZY BOY
and the CapedCrusader*.

*He's at the Cape (Mass) again and he also spent hours ministering to me the other night.
...plus he thinks he's BATMAN.

(Hmmmm....Hope that goes over well in the Oval Office in 2040).

The other two are sufficiently self explanatory.
Wonder what they call us, Dad?
During a visit to the mental asylum,
I asked the director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized... "Well," said the director, "We fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," I said.
"A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the director, "A normal person would pull the plug.
Do you want a bed near the window?"

I came across this little piece today online.
I am not sure who to give credit to so, I will say Author Unknown.
But it impressed me to the fact I am blogging about it.
By the way, my support reminded me I forgot to blog yesterday. OOPS, sorry.
The day was hectic to start with and I wasn't at my desk for the majority of the day and then made a impromptu visit to the lab for blood work. So by 7pm I was chillin', greasing on some Mexican Food, yummy, and watching the track meet.
I digress.
How many times do we fry our brains trying to figure out what the heck to do when we should just do nothing. Or to say the very least, praise GOD, in times of trouble.
I am not poking fun at being institutionalized, but I am saying it turned the light bulb on for me on how to empty a bathtub.
Oh! by the way, for those of you who know me...I speak metaphorically;
my support says ABSTRACT.
Yup, straight to the point, he is.
However, the point being our lives sometimes get so filled we enter a state of overflow.
We panic and become irritated or agitated and cannot think or make proper decisions.
If we would do something so simple as "pull the plug" maybe the dirty water could drain.
Today, I am going to take it a step further.
I am going to clean the tub, get new linens, find the bath salts I have been saving,
for what???!! I dunno...
get my crystal champagne glass, fill it with the bottle of Dom that was probably re-gifted, bask, bathe and become a new woman.
See you tomorrow.

Five Simple Rules!

Our Nonnie shared this email with me today.
God is soooooo on time!
(I am so blessed to have two Mommies!)
Thank you God and bless the participants thereof!
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries..
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the works of His hands,
What a wonderful word from God!

When we look at the skies we can see His handy work displayed in a way which should convince us all that there is Someone who is greater, more powerful, more creative than we are.
Someone who cares so much that He did not just make a space for us to live in, but filled that space with beauty and wonder.
As you look around at all of nature today, be in awe of the power that was employed to design and create such beauty.
Be in awe of the Awesome God who created such magnificent works.
To God be the glory, what great things He has done.
THIS ARTICLE CAME FROM A BLOG SITE I RAN ACROSS AND ENJOYED IMMENSELY!
Check it out.

It is what it is

Good monday morning all,
Lots of lessons learned over his past weekend.
Thank you to those who helped me learn.
In the meantime,
I'm living in the moment, enjoying the next moment and looking forward to whatever comes after that.
I'm grateful to GOD for being able to learn, hearing and knowing His Word and trusting Him with all my mind, body and Spirit.
Thank you to all who join me in believing His healing Hand is upon me.
Your words are priceless.
Thank you for sharing.
Bear with me, some times I forget my name is ChrisitianHeir.
Enjoy this week!
